If your smartphone running Android does not come with access to the root, you can use either a Manual drag and drop or a tool called MyBackup Pro. In the case of the former option, all the user has to do is to connect the device to a laptop and to access the memory card of the Android device; once you are done with that, select the internal data and copy all into a folder located on the PC or laptop you’re using. This method is of great help if you wish to save things like songs, pics and so on on your smartphone’s card.

The second method

The Online NANDRoid Backup option is also very useful, because it offers the possibility to perform a data backup without restarting the handset of your choice to Recovery Mode. The one thing you must do before creating a NANDroid backup is this:
  1. Copy all of the NANDroid backup file to a laptop;
  2. Then copy the files from the NanDroid backup onto the internal memory card of the device.
  3. After this step, choose the Recovery Mode option.
  4. The final step: choose Backup and restore, then Restore. This option will recover the previously copied NANDroid data backup from the laptop.
